Our sister reflector is XLX038 and ties us to multi-mode capabilities. The link between REF038A and XLX038A connects us to the CanNet network. This is a bi-directional link…what is said on one is heard on the other. An exciting feature of this new connection is that this XLX connection features a multi-channel real-time transcoder on its A Module so that D-STAR & DMR users may communicate easily. D-STAR users may connect to REF038A or to XLX038A (or XRF038A/DCS038A) and be heard by DMR users as well as talk to DMR users. See the XLX416/CanNet link to see DMR and Fusion link information.

Please remember when you are using linked systems, you must allow approximately 5 seconds between transmissions to permit each participating system (repeater/reflector/hotspot) to switch between transmit and receive modes.
